Curatorial note

A compelling Taznakht runner structured as a vertical sequence of four distinct medallion panels, each framed by its own narrow flatwoven stripe register. The composition alternates knotted pile medallions — a multi-layered diamond in crimson and gold, a bold navy octagon, a ruby-and-charcoal star, and a green-striped field panel — creating a visual rhythm reminiscent of a ceremonial procession. Between each medallion, ivory stripe registers carry small cross and diamond accent motifs. The outer guard border is a continuous zigzag in black and ivory. A masterclass in Taznakht compositional variety. Vintage and one of a kind.
