A hypnotic Mrirt carpet in which undulating vertical wave bands traverse the entire field from selvedge to selvedge, creating a sense of rhythmic movement reminiscent of geological strata or topographic contour lines. The palette is earthy and restrained — charcoal black, dusty rose, sage green, terracotta and ivory — yet the interplay of warm and cool tones gives the surface an unexpected luminosity. A rare example of the Mrirt wave tradition at its most refined.
